In 1847 a survey took Denmark's mountain away from it, and the country declined to notice. Himmelbjerget — "the Sky Mountain" — rises 147 metres above the lakes between Ry and Silkeborg, and for a good part of the nineteenth century Danes believed it was the highest natural point in their kingdom. Then Ejer Bavnehøj was measured, and it was higher. A scientific survey in 2005 sorted the rankings out properly and handed the title to Møllehøj. Himmelbjerget now sits around eighth on the list, and it remains, without much argument, the one people actually climb.]]></description>
